HOW TO CONVERT TO SINGLE MUSE
Delete everything below
#musesand BEFORE#connections. ( Do not delete#connectionsitself. ) Make sure you highlight the containers to delete instead of each individual element as that will save lots of time by deleting things in bulk.On the link bar on the main page, at the top of your guidelines page, and at the top of your connections page, change the link from
#musesto#muse1, or alternatively to whatever you rename the section with the muse biography. Change the link title to whatever you prefer, like stats / bio / info / about / etc. Do the same for anywhere else that links to the muses page you have just deleted.In the
#muse1section ( or whatever you renamed the muse info section to ), change the return link in the top bar from#musesto#. This way the return will go back to the main page on the carrd.NOTE : If you rename the scroll point as well ( the yellow code line directly beneath

HOW TO ADD MORE MUSE BIOS
At the bottom of the previous muse info section (should be the very bottom of the carrd unless you add other things), add a new
#sectionbreakand name it what you wish. If you don't know how to do that, you can just copy the#muse1break but you MUST rename it. Every section must have an individual name to link to, even if you just go with something simple like#muse1#muse2#muse3, so on and so forth.Directly below that, add a scroll point ( the yellow line ), or as mentioned above, copy the previous scroll point and rename it if you don't know how to set one up.
Copy everything between
#muse1and your new section and drag everything into place. Make sure you highlight the individual containers to delete instead of each individual element as that will save lots of time by copying and moving things all at once. 001 Hello! I'm Sawyer (they/them 29) and this is my nice fancy Dragon Age multimuse so I don't have a million blogs. If you're here and you think 'Hmmm, these OCs look familiar' it's because I've run about half of them as indie blogs at some point and now they're all neat and collected here! 002 I love crossovers! However, if I'm unfamiliar with your setting/fandom and you don't have a DA au then I may have a bit of a pickle figuring out how to interact. However, if you have an idea hit me with it and we can figure out a verse to work in! 003 There is a lot of potential for a lot of triggering content on this blog. BIOGRAPHY
Raised in the slums of the Denerim Alienage, few would expect Sive to become the hard scrabbling, outgoing woman she grew into. Despite being the only child of Cyrion and Adaia Tabris, Sive spent most of her childhood surrounded by a close knit extended family, as her parents took in her orphaned cousins, Shianni at age six when her mother died of fever and Soris at age 14 when his parents were killed in an Alienage purge. The ever growing little family all all of which guarded a close knit family secret. Sive Tabris was a mage.This trait came to light at the tender age of eleven when Sive was separated from her parents in the confusion of an alienage raid. While trying to escape the chaos Sive accidentally ran into a city guard, causing him to drop his dagger. The guard accused her of stealing and as punishment was going to break both of her hands. The man managed to break her left hand but before he was able to break her other one the girl’s extreme state of distress caused her powers to manifest, setting the human ablaze.It was two hours later that Adaia found her daughter, curled up with her chest pulled tight against her knees, cradling her broken hand and staring blankly at the charred corpse of a human man. She began her martial training a week later and her mother promised Sive that she would make her strong enough that she would never be forced to use her magic to protect herself.The rest of her family was informed over the next year, her father told first, followed by Shiani, then Soris. They would all work to conceal Sive’s powers from the rest of the alienage as well as keep quiet about the weapons training she was receiving from her mother. With her hand injury never quite healing right she could not learn to use a bow as her mother did, instead turning to daggers and short swords.As she grew older in spite of her father’s cautious words of keeping her head down for fear of her magic being discovered Sive only grew more defiant and wild with age, Sive became something of a known troublemaker, earning herself the nickname ‘Shiv’ for her tendency towards building handmade weapons just crude enough to be mistaken for trash by the untrained eye.It would only be the death of her mother at the hands of city guards shortly after Sive’s sixteenth nameday that would finally dim the young woman’s bright blaze of defiance into a more reserved, simmering anger that would only grown stronger with each passing year. With her mother gone Sive dove headfirst into her secret training and now without the ever watching eye of her mother began to experiment with the subtle addition of magic in her fights.Life went on as normally as it could within the alienage for the Tabris family until Sive turned nineteen and while Cyrion was negotiating for a bride for Soris, happened upon a good match for his daughter as well. He kept up correspondence with the Hahren from Highever until the engagements could be properly finalized. As the wedding day approached Cyrion cautioned his daughter against revealing either her martial skill or magic, believing it was a topic for later, after the wedding.However, the wedding was not to be as the ceremony was crashed by the Arl of Denerim’s son, Vaugn. Abducting Sive, Shiani, and several other women from the wedding they were taken to the Arl’s estate. Sive knocked out in the process to keep her from fighting, awoke within the estate surrounded by the other abducted women.The last of the women to be taken, before the guards could contain her Sive set one on fire just in time to distract the other from seeing Soris sneak behind him and pass in a sword to Sive. After killing the second guard she and Soris hurried after the others, only to be met by more guards now with the blood of her betrothed on their swords. Just as before Sive burned and slashed her way through the guards and the estate they protected before getting to Vaugn.At the man’s attempt at making a deal Sive did not just gut the man and his friends, she burnt them beyond recognition, the only things distinguishing the charred corpses identities the jewelry partially melted onto their scorched remains.She held her head high when she returned to the alienage with her cousins and stepped forward when guards arrived after the massacre at the arl’s estate was discovered. However, much to her own shock Sive was conscripted into the Warden’s by Duncan and taken to Ostagar.
IMPORTANT PORTRAYAL NOTES
It is exceedingly rare to find Sive without some sort of weapon on her person. Whether they be hidden daggers or shivs or even a garrote if she isn't carrying a weapon then she's carying the tools with which to make a temporary one.
Sive has a bit of formal training as a blacksmith, which she uses in tandem with her magic to create small weaponry.
Sive can be unintentionally handsy with people she's close to.

Born to Revka Amell of Kirkwall, Liora was not exactly the first 'incident' of a magic child though she certainly made herself the most known. With her strange coloring and her mother's history of mage children most assumed it was only a matter of time before the strange babe showed signs of magic and they were right. At the tender age of four Liora's magic made itself known loud and strong and it was made clear to the Amell family that she was to be brought into the circle. However, instead of being sent to the Gallows Liora was sent to a Ferelden circle due to fear that the having an Amell in the Kirwall circle might cause unrest.When approached by Jowan and Lily, Liora helped them destroy his phylactery and supported him until it was revealed he lied to herIn the ensuing chaos Liora was recruited into the Grey Wardens and brought to Ostagar where she passed the joining and lit the signal fire with Alistair to no avail.Liora recruited Sten and Leliana at Lothering.
At Redcliffe Liora spared Jowan and used his ritual to sacrifice Isolde in order to save Connor.At the Circle she sided with the mages and prevented the Right of Annulment.In the Brecalian Forest Liora found a compromise between the Dalish and Werewolves.At Haven Liora refused Kolgrim's offer, did not defile the ashes, and allowed brother gentivi to live.At Orzamar Liora placed Bhelen on the throne.At Denerim Liora arranged for Anora and Allistair to rule jointly. Spared Loghain and convinced him to take part in Morrigan's ritual. She dealt the final blow to the Archdemon herself.
IMPORTANT PORTRAYAL NOTES
Liora's albinsism affects her eyesight heavily, she has severe as nystagmus, light sensitivity, poor depth perception and would be considered legally blind. Her skin is also as sensitive to the sun as her eyes, and she must keep herself covered to avoid sunburn even for short periods of time in the sun.
Liora is very vague about whether she actually used blood magic during the blight if anyone who doesn’t actually know asks. The only reason she can deny it at all is because after the Blight when she stopped using it many people, whether to prevent the political fallout or because they truly believed it, insisted that any claims of the Hero of Ferelden using blood magic were lies made by Loghain and Howe’s men to besmirch her reputation. Liora simply never did anything to dissuade anyone of the idea that it was anything but a rumor.
Liora is heavily pro-circle however Liora’s opinions on the circle are extremely tied to the fact that she went to the circle so early. Having been in the circle since she was four it is literally the only life she had ever known up until being recruited by Duncan.
While Liora likes to believe that she never used the blood of anyone besides herself or darkspawn in some battles she could never quite be certain if she had pulled any blood from human corpses.

Rosalind does not and never particularly has liked herself all that much. For a long time it was because she couldn’t be the daughter her parents wanted. She couldn’t sit down and play damsel in distress while her brothers played heroes. She knew that she was a disappointment and no matter how much her parents loved her, and even continued to let her train until she could easily best her brother, she knew she wasn’t and would never be, the daughter they wanted.She was rather okay with that, she was okay with growing old alone because no noble would want to marry off a son to someone like her even with her name. She wasn’t quite content with her prospects of never getting married, never having children, and probably joining the Faith once she grew out of marriageable age but she wouldn’t allow herself to be upset by it. She always knew the price of her talents, of her face.So she forced herself into studying swordplay, it was the only thing she was ever good at. She forced herself into learning to grapple and wrestle once she was capable of beating every swordmaster her father hired. Then she found herself one of the most formidable fighters in Highever with no one willing to fight her more than a ‘friendly’ spar.She was a woman warrior of the most laughable kind, no charming amazonian woman whom others would fall over themselves to fight for. BIOGRAPHY
The eldest daughter of Malcom and Leandra Hawke, Alethea Hawke grew up scuttling from village to village along with her family. The drive to both protect her family and to present an unassuming front to those around her embedded itself into the girl at an early age. This grew into an altruistic streak a mile wide and a degree of anxiety that cam along with the hypervigilance of a childhood on the run. Growing up, Alethea did everything she could to help her parents, especially once the twins were born, fiercely protective of them and hyper vigilant in her careful watch.At the age of twelve, Alethea discovered she had magic but hid it from her family, beleiving that having two mages would put more pressure upon her parents. It wasn't until a few years later when Bethany's magic revealed itself that Alethea eventually let her own slip, allowing her family to simply assume she was a late bloomer. Settling in Lothering brought a stability to Alethea that would only be shattered with the oncoming Blight as she and her family fled.The death of Bethany left Alethea with a jittery panic that never quite left her and with a resolve that she would lose no one else. Journeying to Kirkwall, Alethea reluctantly joined the smugglers in order to ensure her family's safe passage.

BIOGRAPHY
Born a slave to a rich Tevinter merchant that lived in Seheron Varania was the second child of Metrodora, a house slave and seamstress. Varania grew up near inseparable from her elder brother Leto, whether playing or working the two could seldom be found parted from each other. Varania became her mother’s apprentice at age nine, practicing diligently to become head seamstress of their household one day while Leto considered enlisting with the estate guards in order to better their family position within the household. However, shortly before Varania’s eleventh birthday her magic manifested. Not wanting to deal with the task of teaching an elven slave, Varania and the rest of her family were sold off and were eventually bought by the Magister Danarius Celesti. Metrodora remained a house servant, mending, drafting, and sewing the Magister’s clothing as Varania continued to work as her assistant.Varania was occasionally given brief ‘lessons’ by that tested her ability to control her magic under the threat of pain. She worked tirelessly to ensure strict control of her weak powers in order to be deemed ‘safe’ and complete her training. Throughout the process Leto was incredibly supportive and protective of his sister, often finishing her chores for her when she was too tired or injured after her lessons to do them herself. Such lessons continued intermittently until Varania turned fifteen and Leto entered himself in Danarius’ tournament for a boon.
When Leto won the tournament, Varania and Metrodora were tossed from the estate with only the legal papers detailing their freedom and the clothes on their backs. For a time they were able to meet out a difficult but livable income with both Varania and Metrodora working multiple jobs mending and making clothing. However, Metrodora soon grew ill and Varania struggled to keep a roof over their heads, food on their plates, and medicine for her mother all on her own. Eventually, Metrodora wasted away, with Leto’s name on her lips as she died.
Some time after her mother’s death Varania was finally able to find work as the servant of a magister, though she was little better than a slave with none of the same protections. She worked tirelessly to ensure she would not be replaced until the day that Danarius slunk back into her life. He confronted her with the fact that, per Leto’s agreement his service for his family’s freedom, his escape meant that the contract had been rendered null and void. Varania could come willingly, cooperate and be given the chance and both freedom and an apprenticeship when Leto was returned to his service. However, Varania knew both were false promises and if she did not submit willingly she would be enthralled to cooperate with blood magic. In the end it was no choice at all, one did not refuse a magister.

Shokrakar was born into the Qun, from a young age she struggled to fit within the parameters the Qun confined her to. Repeatedly she turned to her superiors to express that something was wrong, sent to be reconditioned, and reassigned a new role for her trouble. None managed to fit and every time the priests tried to remold and 'fix' her a little more of her faith in the Qun cracked. Soon, she found herself struggling to even justify her own place in it. She had tried, she had worked hard, but the Qun was never willing to bend only break those who did not fit nicely.Shokrakar named herself, Qunlat for 'Rebel' when she fled with the clothes on her back into the jungles of Seheron. She traveled until she made it to the coast, catching ships and exchanging work for safe passage to Rivain, then Antiva, and finally settling in the Free Marches. She joined a mercenary company there, because no where would hire a Vashoth for anything else. Her size brought her advantages but also alienated her from her fellow members. She often found herself pushed into the most dangerous missions with little help.Such alienation finally came to a head when a mission was intercepted by a rival mercenary team and Shokrakar was captured. She was held hostage, one of her horns sawed off and sent back to her company along with a request for ransom. Her old company never answered, simply leaving her to die and when her captors attempted to slay her Shokrakar broke her bonds, stole an axe, and fought her way out.After this, Shokrakar swore she would make someplace safe for other Vashoth and Tal-Vashoth living outside of the Qun. She formed her own company that slowly expanded until eventually it wasn't just mercenaries she was taking it, it was craftspeople, and even civilians and children. The Valo-Kas Company soon became the largest gathering of Qunari outside of territory controlled by the Qun. Led fiercely by Shrokrakar, who swore to protect anyone sworn under the Red Ram Banner.

Ghilan’nain begins crafting the Blight Elves after D’meta’s Crossing but doesn’t craft Vhenatish’an specifically until after Weissaupt when she loses Razikale. She uses the project as a way to stave off grief and Elgar’nan likely encourages anything that keeps her mostly emotionally functioning so it’s a harmless, even potentially beneficial side project for her to work on while mostly confined to their base now that she’s mortal.Ghilan’nain’s choice in spirit and name are reflective of her faith in Elgar’nan’s vision of a future for the Evanuris’ New Empire. Vhen “the people” and Atish’an “peace” symbolically coming together as “A new peace for the people” as she sees a class of elves not just infected with the blight but in part made from it being Ghilan’nain’s attempt at channeling an almost Mythal-like role as Mother to the new elvhen empire. Finding a Spirit of Hope for the first of the blight elves is equally as much a deliberate choice for the myth making she is certain will come from this period of their conquest.The problem, however, is that dragging a spirit of hope against their will from the fade to shove into a body made from blighted flesh and lyrium does not a Hope Spirit keep. Worse still, the Spirit of Hope rejected multiple bodies, Ghilan’nain repeatedly rebinding them each time and dragging them back to try a new vessel where they would feel said vessel die around them. The process eroded the manifestation of Hope into a Spirit of pure Dread. Finally, attached to a body so thoroughly that even death would only make the vessel a tomb Vhenatish’an becomes the First of the Banalhan’len and thus the eldest of Ghilan’nain’s children.They are largely confused and horrified by this, knowing very little of the waking world and less of the monstrous being who calls herself their Mamae. It is a word that means love and horror and control. Every aspect of this existence they did not ask for brings new feelings of unease, steadily growing until water leaks from their uneven eyes. They learn this is called ‘crying’ and it very quickly becomes a reoccurring effect of the unending anxiety that fills their days, though they learn to hold the feeling in when Mamae is around.

Born the youngest of five children to Lord Corwin and Lady Agatha Trevelyan of the main house branch it was a largely accepted fact from a young age that the she was destined for a life within the faith. All but her eldest brother, Gideon, were slotted from an early age into various sects of the faith, her battle inclined siblings off to become templars and those of more sedate or scholarly natures pushed towards lives as brothers or sisters of the faith. Millie found herself far more inclined towards the second option as from and early age she showed a greater inclination towards her house’s modest nature as opposed to it’s boldness. Still, she never resented this fact,as it simply wasn’t something to question. One did not question spare Trevelyans being filtered into the Chantry any more than one questioned why grass grew or the sun set.However, at the age of twelve young Millie found herself in service of the Chantry in an entirely different fashion than she had ever anticipated. Her magic revealed itself in a spectacular fashion as Millie unintentionally set her bed aflame during a night terror. Her eldest brother ran to her rescue, pulling her from the flaming room before she could be burned after hearing her screams but at the expense of his own injuries. When it was discovered that it was not a stray candle but instead Millie herself that started the blaze her parents were horrified but perhaps not more that Millie herself. Raised from birth to believe that magic was curse upon the world and those who used it were shunned from the Maker’s gaze.Where she had once been quite close to her family, her siblings especiallyMillie became an outcast as word of mage blood in the Trevelyan line began to sully the good name, and even bring a critical eye towards her father. Rumors soon spread of what the Trevelyans must have done to receive the Maker’s displeasure enough to inflict one of their main family’s children with the malediction of magic.Millie’s arrival within the Circle was near immediate after her accident, the burns of both herself and her brother not yet healed when she was hauled to the Ostwick Circle. All the while trying her best not to cry and further dishonor her family. Separated from everything and everyone she had ever known Millie had a difficult time adjusting to life the Circle. She spent most of her days in the Circle’s chapel praying to the Maker, asking his forgiveness for whatever sins she had committed and been given magic for. Both due to her timidness that caused an avoidance of others combined with rumors of her noble birth she quickly gained a wrongful reputation as a snobbish noble who believed herself better and more pious that the other mages.Shunned by the family she had so loved, the chantry she had grown up believing would become her second family, and even the very mages whom she had, for a time, considered she could perhaps find some solidarity with Millie largely shut down. She became the model mage, did as she was told, never strayed from the path set before her by the senior enchanters or templars as she fell deeper and deeper into despair. What little she held hope towards being content with her magic was smashed as she learned that her magic was too volatile for healing magic, the only craft in which she’d had any vested interest in learning. After that revelation the only things that kept her going were the notes her siblings managed to have smuggled in for her.At times a templar who had trained with her elder sister would slip her notes from her siblings. Her parents had cut off all communication from her and had taken the age old noble tradition of scouring their mageborn child from the family tree. She learned that her parents did not even allow her siblings to speak of her and when any of them attempted her father would deny her birthright, declaring that no child born of his blood could be a mage and her mother would loudly lament that a child who seemed so innocent could possibly harbor such a monstrous curse before telling her remaining children that it was simply the Maker’s way of testing their faith. Still, gossip buzzed about Ostwick of Lady Agatha’s wandering eyes and possible dalliances with court magicians.Stirrings of the mage rebellion began shortly after Millie passed her Harrowing, however at the time they were whispers at best and spoke far more of general reform than outright revolt. However, Millie’s time in the fade and meeting with a demon had unnerved her more than she was willing to say, even if she’d had anyone to confide in without fear of reprisal. Most of her nights were spent having nightmares of the demons she had encountered, to the point that she had difficulty deciphering whether they were truly dreams or if the demons had followed her through the fade even after her Harrowing.Millie had only just put in her request for the Right of Tranquility when the rebellion broke out. While she did not support the rebellion outright she had no choice but to flee with the rebel mages in order to escape death. When news of the Conclave came to the rebel mages of Ostwick she was one of those volunteered into the delegation to attend, her noble blood believed to be a possible bargaining tool despite her protests otherwise.Her joining of the Inquisition was almost entirely through means of self-preservation. In the wake of the conclave the backlash against mages was great and Mildred joined the small group of mages split from those fleeing following the explosion and instead looked for safety with the burgeoning Inquisition.

Eliane Cousland is the youngest child of Bryce and Eleanor Cousland, born in 9:15 and named for the wife of Bryce's dear friend, Rendon Howe. Eleanor knew that Eliane would be her last child when the pregnancy took more out of her than her previous two and the girl grew up largely cherished and lightly spoiled for it.Even from a young age, Eliane took a shine to all things equestrian, being fascinated with her father's horses and constantly asking to be taken for rides any time she saw a horse saddled. At the age of six she was gifted a fine pony to learn to ride, and at twelve a gelding whom she began training for tourney games. Ring tilts, quintain, anything with a lance she could get her hands on appealed to the girl and she had a clear enough talent that her parents nurtured it.As her 16th nameday approached her father called for a tourney, it would be her gift along with a fine destrier and the opportunity to ride in her first joust. Nothing excited the young girl more until news of Darkspawn incursions in the south and summons from the king called her parents attention away from the preparations. It was broken to her gently, but with the summons her tourney would need to be delayed at least a few weeks, perhaps even months.Eliane was inconsolable, she refused to speak with her father as he and her eldest brother prepared to leave. She would be stuck home with her mother, her middle sibling, with no tourney because of a skirmish. It seemed utterly unfair and even worse that the night the muster was finally finished was her birthday itself so everyone was simply busy with the preparations she wouldn't even have a proper dinner feast until everyone returned.That night she woke to the sounds of chaos outside her door but when she attempted to go outside to investigate she was stopped by Howe guards. They insisted that someone was attacking the castle and that Howe had sent them at her father's request as the castle guards were busy repelling the unknown enemy forces. She was to stay in her room until the attack could be dealt with. Confused and fearful she did retreat to her room, trying her best to remain calm knowing that the guards were correct that with her age and lack of fighting experience she would be safer within her chambers.However, when the fighting came to her door Eliane still grabbed for a riding saber she had on display in her room, only to be shocked when it was mother and her middle siblings with Howe's guards slain at their feet.

Cole had a pained look on his face, one that she knew meant they needed to hide and be quiet and wait for Mama to come get them. She wanted to ask about Mama–Usually Mama was the one who hid them, not Cole. She hadn’t seen Mama since she had gone to talk to Father earlier, down in The Cellar. Cole had been the one to peak it, good at being quiet but Cole had looked sick when he came back. Pale and gasping, eyes darting between the cellar and her every time she tried to speak. Catia’s story does not start with herself, no it starts with her mother, Bibiana born in a splendid whorehouse to one of Antiva City’s finest courtesans. A common story of a crow however, unusually Bibiana’s father was an absent if doting man whose name was carefully never spoken. To her mother he was Vita Mia or My Lord and to Bibiana he was Papa.Of course, this mysterious father was so shrouded in secrets because he was Giuseppe “Beppe” Dellamorte, the youngest brother of Caterina Dellamorte and covering his tracks to not bring attention to the fact that he had a thriving family with his beloved mistress and not the lovely young Antivan merchant princess he was arranged to be wed to.It all comes to a head when he is found out and attacked within the brothel. His mistress is killed and Caterina must come and clean up his mess. She gives him an ultimatum, he will quietly marry his betrothed and never step a single toe out of line or out of Antiva City where his new wife’s estate remains. In exchange, Caterina will ensure that Bibiana is well looked after and any ties to him that may endanger her are severed.Bibiana is told that her father died as well and that she will be taken in by the Dellamorte’s as repayment of a debt her father held. It is a quiet romance, not terribly intense and often he is gone for weeks or even months at a time but they care and he is as faithful as a crow can be.In spite of precautions taken, Bibiana still finds herself pregnant. A young crow finds himself privately confronted by Caterina Dellamorte, or rather dragged into her personal study and given his own ultimatum. He could claim the child marry Bibiana and he would find himself on the wrong end of a contract on order of the first Talon or he could quietly accept an ‘invitation’ for a long term contract in Orlais and cease any and all contact.He is gone the next day, a note to Bibiana that leaves her crying in her room where Caterina approaches her and promises that she will, as promised so long ago, be provided for and looked after. When the child is born the following spring she is named Caterina, for the woman Bibiana has hailed as her savior. Frauke was found as an infant among the dead in the necropolis. For a time it was assumed she would be sent, well, anywhere else. The grand catacombs and tombs no place for a nearly newborn babe. However, every time a watcher attempted to leave with the child, spirits would object fighting toth and bone with whoever attempted to take the baby. It was finally settled that Frauke would stay with the Mournwatch, given a primary caretaker with experience with children and raised among the dead and living.Growing up Frauke felt somewhat isolated from her peers, most of her interactions always being with her elder watchers--she struggled with friendships with those who were not spirits or undead. The only children her own age often those visiting the tombs and much less enthusiastic for her home. This led Frauke to throw herself more fiercely into her studies, not out of a need to be perfect so much as a want to learn everything about her home. By the time she reached her majority she was well known among her peers as a jack of all trades, having a bit of experience in any subjects available to her.Her actions in the War of the Banners led to her being advised to take time to travel outside the necropolis. Traveling outside of Nevarra for the first time in her life, she encountered Varric.

Ben-Hassrath teaching often started young but at six Kasaanda was placed in a special curriculum, not often used unless in times of dire war and need. Cosima was taken in by the crows young, but not quite young enough that she can't remember a Before. She was scouted from the streets, a starving little pickpocket of potential. It was an 'offer' in the loosest sense, join or die, and at the time she thought surely the crows were better than death. She would come to find her opinion changed over the coming years of her life.To Cosima, Antiva is a kingdom that has benefited from her blood, sweat, tears, and suffering for as long as she can remember. Who scooped her from a gutter only to make her wish every day that she had been left to starve, knowing that if she tried to run whatever death they gave her would be worse than whatever she could imagine. Knowing the same was in store for her if she failed. Living not for the love of her city, the defense of her country but out of pure spite. Knowing that to the crows she was nothing now but one day she could be strong enough, powerful enough to make them all pay for her pain.She signed the contract in her own blood when they vivisected her chest and broke three ribs to teach her to withstand torture. When she finally does what they claim to do, she saves her countrymen, defends them from the antaam invaders the crows have so reviled. They decide that she is the failure for interfering. For raising her daggers in defense of the innocent, for muddying a contract.Varric meets while she is banished, reeling from the rejection and bubbling in resentment. He is kinder to her than any who have hired her for a job before him and she cannot help but latch on. She isn't entirely sure she believes all the things he says about Solas but she knows that she lives in Thedas and while she would prefer to see some empires burn she wants the world whole as they do.

Born in the city of Halamshiral, Euphrasie is the eldest of seven daughters. Her mother, Babette, worked as a handmaiden to a minor noble in the city's High Quarter while her father, Eugene, worked as a laborer in the Docks District. As the eldest daughter, Euphrasie began working from a young age, first assisting her mother with her duties as handmaiden and eventually with through the sponsorship of her mother's mistress managed to procure a job as an apprentice laundress in the Winter Palace at fourteen. It was steady, well paying work with promised housing within the servants quarters if she completed her apprenticeship with good marks.However, when Euphrasie was seventeen her father was killed by a drunken Chevalier. With their family income slashed, Euphrasie chose to put aside the betrothal her parents had brokered for her outside of Halamshiral and instead stay working at the palace in order to support her mother and sisters as her pay was the highest of the entire family and with the loss of their father's income could no longer be spared.She continued working in the palace until the uprisings. When tensions finally overflowed and the slums burned Euphrasie gathered her things and tried to find her family in the chaos. Instead all she found was a burnt house and several charred bodies. Like many elves who survived the flames, she fled to the countryside, finding work at the autumn estate of a cousin of her mother's former mistress. A devout patron of the Divine, Euphrasie's new mistress travelled to attend the Conclave and her handmaiden followed.When Euphrasie next awoke it was in chains, with a strange glowing magic in her hand.

The youngest child of Arl Eamon Guerrin and Arlessa Isolde, conceived in the wake of her brother's death and born of her mother's, Rowan grew up a fairly quiet and lonely child. Her father away in Denerim to ply his political goals she was left with her Uncle Teagan in Redcliffe to be raised up as it's heir. Along with a small team of tutors and governesses Rowan lived a relatively unassuming life of a little noble girl until the outbreak of the mage-templar war.Taken hostage while her Uncle Teagan and his soldiers were forced out of Redcliffe, Rowan was treated relatively well given the promise of her family not to attempt to retake the castle. Primarily kept to her room, Rowan attempted one escape and while running from Alexius' guards her magic manifested in her panic to escape them. Once revealed, Alexius took a closer note of her, sending an updated letter of her 'status' congratulating her Uncle and Father on the 'boon' of having their heir taught by a magister of the imperium instead of some middling mage within the paltry southern circle.In the wake of this event, she began attending dinners with the magister and his son, as well as receiving basic lessons in magic. She would occasionally notice a mysterious figure sneaking about the castle but when none of the rebel mages knew of anyone by the description she gave she came to the 'reasonable' conclusion of a child that it must be one of the Orlesian Ghosts that some of the servants told stories of, the governors from the occupation killed by rebels.It would be nearly two weeks before she learned that the 'Orlesian Ghost' was in fact one Dorian Pavus, when the Inquisition liberated Redcliffe from Magister Alexius.

Mulling over Mercy Ingellvar's Unique Circumstances one could come to the conclusion that they could be considered a type of abomination. Though it is, of course, more complicated than that.They started as two, a spirit of Mercy attracted to the distress of a baby left in the crypts. Where the other spirits watched or fled to alert the watch, Mercy tried their best to comfort the baby and give them whatever they needed to ease their suffering. In this case, life-saving energy. By the time any member of the watch arrived Mercy had essentially fused with the dying child and the two lingered together in a state of torpor not uncommon in infants with hypothermia.Neither child barely a month old, or spirit now barely hours possessing a physical form could entirely process the strange fusion. Both spirit and soul malleable enough to allow for a total merge of consciousness, neither old or knowledgeable to overpower the other. Mercy is the sum of their parts, both the dying crypt infant and the spirit summoned by it's distress to comfort it.Given this context, the members of the mourn watch aware of the situation never actually expected for them to get any older. They would have still been cared for like every forever child kept under the mourn watch's careful guard by members specialized in the care of such undead.But then they started growing.
